• India Art, Architecture and Design Biennale- 2023
• It is being organized with the intention of it being a global cultural initiative and the flagship programme of the Ministry of Culture.
• Aim: To invigorate the cultural space and creative industries and leverage the Arts for Global Cultural Diplomacy & Connect.
• There are 7 themed pavilions as follows:
• Day 1: Pravesh (Doors of India), Rite of Passage.

Why in news - Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya virtually addresses Vibrant Gujarat Pre-Summit on ‘Biotechnology: The Path of Innovation & Wellness for Viksit Bharat’
Key points:
• India's 'Bio-Economy' has grown eight times in the last eight years from $10 billion to $80 billion.
• In the coming times, biotechnology will become the biggest foundation for health treatment.
• This industry will become a medium for finding solutions for complex problems in various spheres such as agriculture, environment, industrial production and many more.
• The summit is a preliminary event leading up to the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit that will take place on January 2024

2. VINBAX-2023
Why in news - Indian armed forces contingent reaches Hanoi for joint military exercise
Key points:
• The Indian Armed Forces contingent comprising 45 personnel reached Hanoi, Vietnam to take part in the fourth edition of Joint Military Exercise VINBAX-2023.
• It will be conducted at Hanoi, Vietnam.
• Aim - to foster collaborative partnership, promote inter- operability and share best practices between the two sides (under Chapter VII of United Nations Charter on Peace Keeping Operations).
• The joint exercise will encourage exchange of ideas and both contingents will jointly rehearse tactics, technique and procedures.

Why in news - 58 airports covered under the Krishi Udan Scheme
Key points:
• Krishi Udan Scheme 2.0 was announced on 27 October 2021 mainly focusing on transporting perishable food products from the hilly areas, North Eastern States and tribal areas.
• The scheme primarily covers 25 airports focusing on North Eastern, Hilly and Tribal region besides 33 airports in other regions/areas.

1. Article 370 Supreme Court of India's Verdict
Why in news - Supreme Court’s ruling to uphold the decision to abolish Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.
Key Points:
• The Supreme Court on December 11, upheld that the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the carving out of Ladakh as constitutionally valid.
• It has directed the Election Commission to ensure elections are held to the J&K assembly by September 30, 2024.
• The court has also recommended the government to form a truth and reconciliation commission to record the human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir by both state and non-state actors.
